Where did you go to Law School?
The University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
Where do you work?
I am an associate at Fisher Phillips LLP.
Why did you become a lawyer?
I initially planned to pursue medicine, but after working at a small law firm, I realized I was more drawn to legal field. That experience redirected me to law school and ultimately into employment litigation.
Where are your favorite places to travel?
Japan. My mom’s side of the family lives there, and it’s a place that’s culturally and personally important to me.
Are you currently binge-watching any shows?
I am finally catching up on the latest season of The Bear.
How do you de-stress?
Gardening. I’ve started taking care of indoor and outdoor plants and enjoy cooking with what I grow.
If you could instantly implement any law, what would it be?
If I could instantly pass any law, it would protect reproductive rights, advance diversity, equity, and inclusion, and ensures due process in immigration enforcement.
If you weren’t a lawyer, what would you be?
A pastry chef. I love baking and have always wanted to attend pastry school.
What’s your favorite restaurant?
Babajoon’s in Broomfield—amazing Persian food and my go-to spot.
What is your favorite game?
Ms. Pac-Man. You can’t beat a classic arcade game!
