ICYMI: What a Busy Summer!

Only July 25, we celebrated Disability Pride Month and the 35^th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act and co-hosted Equity in Action: The Legal Landscape of Disability Rights in partnership with CBA CLE, which was by far one of my favorite CLE programs to attend all year.

Speaking of CLEs, shout out to the amazing staff who took us all (and their jobs) on the road this summer. The Summer Institutes and Symposiums saw some of the highest attendance figures on record and were a rockin’ good time. I enjoyed connecting with many of you and was heartened to witness the best and brightest of our profession coming together to learn from one another and grow together.

Back in Denver on August 14, we were joined by Sam Cary Bar Association, CLBA, APABA, CDBA, SABA, CHBA, and CWBA for Motion to Mingle: A DBA Diversity/Affinity Bar Mixer. With over 100 attendees, a stunning sunset, and meaningful connections made and renewed, it was an unforgettable night that truly illustrated the purpose and sense of community I hope to grow with all of you this year.
