New Year, New Docket?

Well, not quite, but we are working to make some changes here at the Docket. With the holiday season behind us and a seemingly rapidly moving year already, we’ve got a lot to look forward to and a notepad with scribbled ambitions. But, before we get to that, we’re three weeks into January, so if you decided to take on a New Year’s resolution and don’t feel like your goal has taken hold, worry not; the 21-day habit-making statement is actually a myth.

Celebrating DBA Members in an artful fashion

Moving on, the 2nd annual DBA Member Appreciation event, hosted at Meow Wolf, is on again! The event is currently sold out, so we hope you were able to RSVP for your spot for the 29th. If you didn’t and also want some positive exposure with the DBA at the event, the organizers are still looking for any additional sponsors. And yes, the sponsor packages do include tickets!

Check the sponsorship information here, and please reach out to Annie Martinez and Danaé Kinnett for more information.

The docket is due for an update

The Docket returned after a hiatus in 2024, but it doesn’t feel like that original panache has been found just yet. After some review, research, and meetings with our fine DBA Docket Committee, we’ve decided to start making small changes throughout the DBA Docket’s website. Further, we want to emphasize that this is a DBA member benefit, where your voice is intended to be heard throughout the Denver Metro legal community, and your scope is broadened by your fellow DBA peers.

If you already have an idea in mind for an article, reach out to Victor Werner to discuss next steps. If you’re just curious for now, stay on the lookout for a new “Write for the Docket” page!
