DBA YLD Barristers After Hours

The Denver Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division hosted a fun happy hour on December 12, 2024. The monthly barristers after hours get togethers always bring a great sense of camaraderie within the Denver legal community. The happy hour provided a perfect opportunity for new folks to meet fellow young lawyers, while others shared their wisdom on navigating the challenges of the legal field. We hope to see you at the next BAH on January 30, 2025, at West Saloon & Kitchen!

DPS 8th Grade Career Fair

Grade Career Fair on November 20-21. The Career Fair helps students to explore and begin to plan for their future. The DBA had representatives at a booth to teach over 4,000 middle school students about careers in the legal community! Big thank you to our volunteers Cynthia Griffin, Alli Daley, Carol Donohue, Jennie Wray, Marcus Johnson, Michelle Berge, Sara Carty, Aaron Thompson, Wendy Weigler, and Jennifer McLeod!

The Denver Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (DBA YLD) Mid-Year Holiday Dinner

The Denver Bar Association Young Lawyers Division (DBA YLD) hosted a mid-year holiday dinner, bringing together the Executive Council for an evening of celebration and connection. Held at Lo Stella Ristorante, a local Denver restaurant, the event featured a festive atmosphere with hand tossed pasta in cheese wheels and lively conversation! With the emphasis on community and camaraderie we played ‘Questions from an Envelope;’ which showcased the unique interests from Iron Man athletes, Taylor Swift superfans, and true crime junkies that make the YLD community so vibrant and dynamic. A huge thank you to everyone who has participated and made 2024 possible. We look forward to 2025 and a great year ahead!
